A Mac compatible version recently showed up in my Steam library - I just wanted to thank the developers for putting the resources into developing it. I was really bummed out.

Cool. Tried it out this afternoon on my MacBook Pro which runs a 2.3 GHz i5 and 16 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 memory, and there's a bit of chug to it, but surely this isn't optimized yet and it's just going to play better and better as we get closer.

 

Also noticed there are now options to turn off auto-sell of power, and to turn it on for other commodities - since you can't store power without the Energy Storage patent, I assume this is for people who would rather lose the extra juice than sell it for cheap? Or is this feature just for people who don't want to be bothered bulk selling every so often? Does this seriously affect how market prices change?

I've got a base model late 2012 27" iMac (2.9 GHz i5, GeForce 660M) and I haven't really noticed any performance lag. I have noticed that when I leave it running in the background, it makes everything else chug. Really hoping to be able to save my game soon.

To the devs: thank you very much for investing the resources to create a mac version!

I've noticed that the PC version got updated recently with some really neat features, can we expect the same update to arrive on the mac anytime soon? O:)

The Mac and PC versions are built at the same time, so they should contain the same features.  You should even be able to play multi-player with PC players.

Hi bigheadzach,

I have the same MacBook Pro with a 2.3 GHz i5 processor and 16 Gb DDR3 RAM. What is the graphics card on your laptop? Is it Intel HD Graphics 3000, by any chance? And what version of the OS does it run? I'm considering getting the OTC during the sale on Steam, but I'm a bit worried that my machine's specs are a bit too low in the graphics and OS divisions.

Will be really grateful for your feedback.

I play a game or two on my Mac every night and it works fine. (Granted, I'm a dev, but I am being honest!) We fixed the cursor issue. The interface latency gets pretty bad, but we're working on that and it should be fixed within the next couple of months.

Works pretty well in my MacBook pro 15" nvidia 750, my only problem is that whenever I plug my external screen I can't go into fullscreen. 

I mean it does go into fullscreen but the screen just remains black.
