Sigh, this nick business caught me out...so without thinking it through I strung my surnames first letter onto the end of my first name...

I would've liked to have been "squall" or sum'it along those lines - seeing as Storm is my second name - but hey, it wasn't to be...

Maybe one day I'll be sufficiently awake to get it right...

I've been 'Wombat', 'The Wombat' or 'The Kombat Wombat' forever.
As pointed out in a previous post, a Wombat is a chunky (not chubby Jafo!) burrowing Australia marsupial, primarily nocturnal.
And a tough little tacker at that, most road deaths in rural Australia are the result of a car hitting a Wombat and being launched into the surrounding bush, usually killing all occupants.
The Wombat is built in such a way that any vehicle striking a highway strolling Wombat is launched off a small but steep ramp, rather like Evil Knevil was won't to do.
Being a tough little 'Bat, the effect is too annoy him to the extent that Semi Trailer rigs find themselves deep in used food if and when one attempts to biff the Wombat.
The resulting light and sound show can be rather spectacular and a brief diversion for an artistic Wombat.
A Wombat is well known for one character flaw(or is that culinary flaw?).
The male of the species eats, roots, shoots and leaves ......
And that, dear readers, is how this particular grunt became known as 'The Wombat'.

43 years ago (whew) I was given that name (slinky) by my sister. Must have gracefully tumbled down the stairs or something.

JamMeister33 - I took the advice, so now it's no more MarkL, but squall - or as it's rendered here: 5qu4ll - seeing as squall was already taken.

As I said before, my second name is Storm - so in keeping with the tradition, my nick is 5q4ull.

I fink I'm happy now.

..easy to please, easy to please...

Okay, now that you know how easy it is.... if you really want Squall, try tacking a number onto the
end of it, just like I did!
You wouldn't believe how many JamMeisters, and JimJammers, and whatever else I wanted are out there
already, but a simple number on the end gets you what you want!

tritto on that *groan* for Hippy!

the full derivation of Bangkokboy is still too long to relate, even sober.
