Tiles sometimes not accessible

Has anyone else seen this and know a solution. Sometimes I cannot access the Tiles screen (docked on the left side and hidden) when I have application windows open to maximum size. If I make an app sligthly smaller than full size then I can access the Tiles screen. Also, after rebooting the problem goes away for a while but then returns.

I'm running at 1920x1080 resolution, Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate and the latest version of Tiles.
