uis1 uis 2...what?

whats the difference between UIS1 and UIS2. UIS1 seems a bit faster but how is it faster than UIS2?
does UIS2 have any advanced features which UIS1 doesnt have?

UIS2 has support for extra buttons (rollup, always on top, user-created menus, etc) and I think it lets you make skins that use the side title bars to put buttons on, while UIS1 only allows the top title bar. But don't quote me on the second one.
