WC Site Suggestion

With all these millions of visitors and tons of registered users, you know there's going to be tons of folks who register an alias, are active a while, and later leave for good.

Is there a way of monitoring whether a particular registered user has been active (making comments, uploading, download, or posting in the message board) in the site in the past three months? My thought is that if a non-paying and non-contrubuting person has not been active in the past three months and does not have any skins uploaded, then their alias should be released back into the general pool.

I'm trying to switch all of my Aliases over to "Aqua"

I tried switching here a while back, but it was already taken... which got me to thinking about all those folks who have registered and left to never come back, but are still tying up perfectly good aliases.

Grrr...why can't people stick to one name?...

i will henceforth be known as froboz the great!

nah.. nevermind.

most people can't stick to one anything for very long - "the eyes of man are never satisfied" etc., etc.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing this happen. I have been going by the nickname "Shakey" since the mid-80's, but when I first signed up here, that nick was already taken, so I had to add the "(The Original)" bit after it.

You mean like me being 'the-Jafo' at DeviantART...
Yep, exactly like that. Kind of strange isn't it? Having to 'adjust' a nickname that you have had for years.

Guys, I've had Jobeleca since 1994, I think I can change it now that's not exactly changing it all the time.

And BTW, I'm not just changing it here, I've changed it at 4 other message boards, 3 IM aliases, email addresses, and a few other things.

I'm just sick and tired of Jobeleca

My handle will remain Bakerstreet, which is not quite as colorful as my godgiven name "Funkolicious69", but I tend to understate things, as everyone knows...

I like Aqua; pretty popular nick online I bet, though. "Cold" things tend to be popular in the techy nickname department as well, I never understood why.

bakerstreet, interestingly enough, Aqua isn't taken very often.

I suspect that everyone thinks it's so popular it's not worth bothering to see if it's available

What am I missing here? Aqua appears to be so close to Aqua, that I can't see any difference.

Koasati - you're extemporaneous, not extraneous.

those of us from texas, new mexico, and cal would be willing to accept Jafo as Jafito. Just a thought. Same offer holds for Wombatito.
