If he really threatened your life, save a copy of the email, print a copy and call the cops in his area. Life threat is a felony.

I haven't got a clue where he lives.... there is nothing on the email except his name.

Make sure to save the threatening email messages.
If you right click on one of the messages and select "Properties" and then select "Details" there is quite a bit of information about the sender. Save a copy of this information too. (I usually write it down on paper too. )
Call your local police and inform them of the threat. They may want you to forward the saved email messages. Believe me, they can be traced. Absolutely anyone can be traced, no exception.

Wonder if we should send out the search party for Jafo? He must have gotten mails too?

As has been recommended, keep a copy and forward details to the police and/or his ISP provider.

Part of the Telecommunications act covers threats, stalking, transmission of prohibited material [eg child porn] and viruses, etc.


But basically, he's just a prat, and not worth your time...

At first I was a bit upset, scared even.
But now I figure the idiot is probably 11 years old anyway so to heck with him.
I'll take the necessary steps suggested above and meanwhile I have deleted that email
account and opened a new one.
That one was starting to get spammed a lot anyway....
