Windows 8 Themes?

Where are they?

Hi all,

I just bought WindowBlinds and i am disappointed.

The application works great and it said look for more themes to download so i did.

I tried looking for more but i couldn't find much for windows 8.
All the themes i see on the site are themes have been made for XP/Vista/7.

I tried to look for Win8 themes through the filters i saw that there are no filters for windows 8.
Just for Xp/Vista/7. Please just add support for this.

TL;DR Support for Windows 8 is VERY lacking. Is this going to be updated soon or at all?

You are correct in that no search filter has yet been put in place for Windows 8 skins although usually the WindowBlinds skinners will mention what OS their skin will work with in the skins description.  LightStar and a few other skinners has been uploading skins that will work on both Windows 7 & 8.

As I don't run Windows 8 I'm not sure if skins written for Windows 7 will work.   :sun:

I typically make my Windows 7 WB skin first and when done reboot and load it into Windows 8 and create a sub-style. The changes in Windows 8 are usually so minor that it takes less than 10 minutes to make them, and only a trained eye would notice the differences. So any properly made Windows 7 skin should work in Windows 8 or even 8.1.

I just wanted to put in my "2 cents."  I'm running Windows 8.1 and have 398 WindowBlinds skins, as I've had this program for several years.  Most are not listed as compatible for Windows 8, but they look great to me!  But then I'm not that picky.   ^_^

We have lots of skinners that take the time to create a nice description for their skins, including what OS they are made or optimized for.  However, there are some that don't do that.  

As others have said, most recent skins that are even made for Windows 7 should look good on Windows 8, and just doing a quick browse through the WindowBlinds gallery, I see plenty that are supported for Windows 8.
