V3.4 program not applying skins to Start menu and window borders. What's up?

I think the Subject line pretty much sums it up... Have v.3.4, and not changing a thing except the lame background color of the start menu. no graphics, no curves, just plain flat ugly coring color. Any suggestions?

Let me make a correction... not changing a thing *in the start menu* except the color of the background.

What are you expecting?
Do you have Windows 95|98|ME|2000 and expect Windowblinds to give it a Start panel like XP? Sorry, but Windowblinds can only skin what is available to skin; in other words, it will only skin the Start panel if you have a Start panel (XP).
On the other hand, another product called Objectbar can emulate the XP Start panel and can even be configured to be skinned by Windowblinds.

Ok, it sounds like you have "Classic" start menu selected, nothing can skin it. If you want Windowblinds to skin your start menu you have to switch it to the new version. Right click on your taskbar and select properties. The second tab on the window that pops up should say "Start Menu" and check the "Start Menu" box that should be right above the "Classic Start Menu" box. Hit OK and that should do the trick.

No change. Going to reboot with the new setting to see if it makes a difference. BRB

Bummer... No change. It's almost as if there is a setting that needs to be activated or something. A simple click somewhere... Something along the lines of "Activate Start Panel" Any more suggestions?
