If I bought stardock object destop 2014 and did not wish to renew in 2015, would I still be able to access the 2014 features from my downloads page in 2015?

No, you'll need to make sure you backup your apps before your subscription expires.

Ah, thanks for the info!

That is very useful and i am now more likely to make a purchase knowing I can re-use the apps after the subscription expires - so long as they are backed-up!

Yes, let me clarify that you can still use the apps after a subscription has ended. It's just downloading the older versions from the site won't be available so make sure to backup.
