Do you have to purchase this to try it out?

I have tried everything to get this to work and can not do it. Do you have to purchase it before it will work? thanks. If not what am I doing wrong. I have downloaded everthing and then I find the file and open it up and it will not let me. I am not a wiz but I am not dumb either. Any help would be nice.

What in particular are you having problems with? Each of the different skin/theme types are handled by a particular program (WindowBlinds for WBA files, DesktopX for dxtheme files and so on)

All the the commercial programs have shareware versions that allow you to try them out. Some of the skins/apps listed here are freeware apps.

It would be nice if you told us what you downloaded. What program. There are a few free ones and a few are shareware.

It can be very confusing at first because of all the individual programs handling their own thing.
You just have to read the instructions first and if that doesn't help you, there are many people here who can help you.

To tell you the truth I do not know all of the ones that I have downloaded. I click on a link and then another one and then by the time I am trying to figure out where I am, I am lost. My fault. I will try and figure this out. Thanks
