To bakerstreet

Bakerstreet, on looking back over the entire thread from out last "conversation" I have realised that yes, you were just trying to be helpful or something in your own way. I know you probably don't care but I apologise to you anyway for my infantile and just downright mean-spirited remarks. Being in a bad mood, having a bad day, being on cold medication etc. is no excuse for the way I acted. It is very obvious to me after re-reading the thread that I attacked you for no good reason. I guess I'm just an idiot with a hair trigger temper. You don't need to reply to this and I don't expect one. I am very sorry for the way I acted to you and to anyone else that I offended. I'm not sure why I sometimes try to pick fights with people but I will make a concerted effort to refrain from doing so in the future.

Sincerely,
Jim

Paxx, of course, but that is why we read books, it stretches the mind and the imagination, without insulting one's intelligence (most of the time!)
Old Crab, probably the same person who wrote "power grows out of the barrel of a gun"

Some writers (like David Eddings) insult my intelligence, by the hypocritical double standard (yeah yeah, pleonasm) they hold in regard the 'heroes' and their 'enemies'. If a bad guy does act X it's oh so despicable, while if the good guy does the very same thing, he is oh so righteous. Blegh!!

Then again, that's a flaw of most Fantasy.

My oh my, seems like these pixels on my screen are developing persona!

Yo Jam, it's not my faith in you that you should be worried about, it's your faith in yourself.

Sorry to hear about your condition c242. Just curious, is that where you get your neurobeat name from? Kind of odd but also kind of interesting.

No, that's a music thing. It's based on an old 80's song named 'Neurobeat' from 'A Split Second' (old belgian Electronic Music band...) But I am getting better for those interested. At least I can walk a bit now without constant pain.

Bakerstreet, after reading some of the conversations that you have had with AngEla, who also butted heads with you initially (although nothing like me of course), I have come to the inescapable conclusion that my first impressions of you were so far off the mark as to be ludicrous. I usually trust my first impressions about people I meet but in your case I was so wrong. You don't need to respond to this, I just wanted you to know how much I have changed my opinion of you. I can see now that you just have a certain style that may rub others in the wrong way, but there is nothing bad or malicious intended in anything you do or say.

"Auggie" often has that effect on folks....
I must say the Jam I've seen the last couple of days seems much calmer.

JM: No I'm fairly unstable, disagreable, and elitist; it just takes a lot of energy to keep a suitable level. I'll get some sleep and take my vitamins. I appreciate the thought, though.

baker's description of baker is on the nail.
He's unstable, disagreeable and elitist...but unfortunately they are the 3 prerequisites of an Artist...

Like an in-grown toenail, we must endure him...

In reality, I may be a wee bit more stable, have been known to be disagreeable and am definitely more elitist at times but somehow the 'artist' just ain't there....

JM, it's pleasing to see that the ague with which you were beset has broken...

Thank you, my friend, I am very pleased myself....
