xp style

The problem is, Win2000 doesn't have a XP style taskbar to skin, so WindowBlinds can't do anything about it.

However, you can use objectbar which (besides being used to build custom bars and docks) has the ability to mimic the WinXP taskbar and start menu. In this mode, it can also import the WinXP specific taskbar/start menu graphics from the WindowBlinds skin, and skin itself to compliment the current WindowBlinds theme.

well, the rest of my windows is quite ok, but how can i get the icon in start menu of the dial up networking get changed?? all icons are xp style but dial up doesnt work

although windowblinds freeware has most options already included, just a few are locked. To get the full benefits go to http://www.windowblinds.net/default.asp?page=register. If you are really impressed with what you see so far check out object desktop. I doubt one person on this website has regreted purchasing it. By the way welcome to the club

what my problem is: im student, dont have much money... im from europe and i dont have any credit card at all...

i want xp style but i dont like buying xp, i think its pretty shitty, except from its style...

First off cursing is not taken too well by website admins. Best offer I can give is save up euros little by little and buy object desktop at $49.95. Its cheaper than buying each one seperately and it comes with all of the programs except one or two. I don't know if there are even other programs out there, because I am very satisfied with stardock's products. If you are asking for where to get illegial copies or "warez" you are not going to get very far at this website.

peterle75, Stardock accepts Money Orders. That's how I got Object Desktop Myself, since I don't have a credit card either (I am not a student, I just don't trust myself with credit. ).

i have windows 98, and
i want to download the xp skin for windowblinds. its quite ok, but: if i have 98 will the taskbar have nothing to do with xp at all...?? i want a skin that makes my whole windows look like xp...

Ummm. Go back and read this thread again, specifically the 2nd post. Use ObjectBar to mimic the XP style start menu.

You'll need to download Object Bar and some object bar skins to make it look like XP.

that is such a cool trick... I just decided to see if you really could make object bar use the window blinds graphics... and it worked... it skined the bar to look like that of windows xp... but it changed the graphics to match that of the window blinds skin... I love it... that is so cool....
