Mickey Rooney Gone at 93

Sad to tell you I just heard that Mickey Rooney has passed away.

He started acting at age 1 with his parents on the Vaudeville stage. He was famous for starring in over 200 films.

The Hardy Boys with Judy Garland was the series which made him a box office star. He was nominated for an Oscar for his acting in "The Bold and The Brave" in 1956.

He was married eight times, his first was Ava Gardner.

I remember him from my childhood, and he will be missed. He died yesterday.

Rest In Peace, Mickey Rooney.

Another of my favorite actors.  But 93 is a good age, and I think he was not so well and having problems with his relatives, if I remember correctly.  <3

I grew up with him also.  I guess Doc will be posting a lot of these as all the actors and singers we knew as kids are old.  Damn.
