I can't understand how DevART can let this happen. BoXXi is well known and i am sure one of the Admins at DevARt would have saw it and put a stop to it >

DevART's reliance on the 'integrity' of its uploaders means that there will often be instances of this nature....people claiming other's work as their own.
However, they DO have a mechanism in place for reporting such and having things corrected.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained in a flood of vitriol and hate mail, but just clear, reasoned explanation of the problem.

I'm sure they'll take care of it when they get to the violation report. You have to remember that Devart isn't flush with admins that would instantly recognize Boxxi's work. They are more of a social phenomenon than what *I* would call an art site... It reminds me of a MUD, actually. The content is the commodity, but the site is about the social interaction, imho; whether that is the intention or not.

I know some moderators have been working hard at it lately. I've been looking in since the last 'debate' on the subject here, and more than half of some sections have been removed. They have removed every deviation I have reported that violated their rules, and that is about 99% better than it was previously. They do have a few standards that I disagree with, but, as anywhere, it's their site. Things could improve, but I don't consider the site a menace at this particular moment.
