I do not think anybody like MusicMatch. I do but I have not learned how to skin it yet. MusicMatch was suppossed to be the big thing in downloadable music but so far so bad. The big corparations have not found a way to put real music on the net so people can download.

I am devoted to MMJB. It does everything I want it to, and does it well. Look for skins by GrayPony. He is very good at skinning MMJB.

Same here. The best all-in-one program available when it comes to music.
But a hell to skin.
The new default skin of version 7.5 is quite nice IMHO.

Oh, I haven't seen 7.5 yet. Going to have to get over there and download it. Been too busy lately (and I spend a lot of time hanging out here). Seems to be addictive.

Jumbles used to make great skins for MMJB, but when version 6 broke all her skins, I think she just quit. I have thought about trying to upgrade them for v. 7, but everybody says MMJB is really hard to skin.

If You look at the skins folders there are over 100 bitmaps in there. Quite much...

Yes, I've changed colors, etc. and downloaded the sdk, but haven't been brave enough to try actually making a skin.

But the Windowblinds skin that I made had about 90 bitmaps. I was sure sick of it by the time I finished it.

100 bitmaps!!! that doesn't faze me! It is the codeing that is hard to swollow. I do like musicMatch as well. I really thought no one liked it cause it was hard to skin and just is not popular enough.... well its on my list of "learn to skin by the end of next year".

I like the coding. It is an interesting challenge to figure out what the settings do. Maybe the fact that I am an accountant has something to to with this. (patience) But not having much artistic ability, I have a hard time getting what's in my head to show up on the desktop. What I really need to do is learn more about my paint program. I think I probably do everything the hard way.

I was shocked to read in another thread, a critisism of skinners for using filters. I made a mental note to learn about filters!

How about this. I make the skins and you code it? Sounds like a partnership to me!!! Well call it Eat at jebland JOE's! All you can download skins for MMJB.

Looks like I will be keeping an eye on you...

When the blind leads the blind, they all fall in the ditch.

Is that a ditch full of skins?

Just wondering... we probably wouldn't see them anyway.
