Really, i'm not back, i simply will comunicate that i released my first icon set for KDE (a desktop for Linux OS).
It was very successful, and a big oportunity for me to make a real complete icon set!
This will be a direct message for all great skinners here (not only iconists), to release their skins/icons for KDE and gNome desktops.
Advantages: for iconists, the oportunity of release a real complete oportunity. In general: there's no lots of great skins for KDE, and Linux users wish to have great designs on their desktops. Of course, there's a lot of people that will help you on any aspect, on the Linux comunity
If you don't like to make a special release for Linux, you can always falicitate the port of your skins to Linux desktops!
About the characters, this will be a issue of Wincustomize Browser (it not show correctly some characters). I'm now on OSX IExplorer and shows correctly the characters i tipped. OSX uses all codifications (if it is needed); maybe i need to use a different codification on wXP.

i´m not registered at KDE-Look, so first of all: thanks a lot for this wonderful new icon set i love the Mozilla icon btw.

true, there aren´t to many great themes for KWM, real window skinning happens in the Enlightenment scene.

and i fully agree with you that there are plenty of helpful people in the *NIX community.

The iconset was a success, specially in Spain.
But it happened a problem that i dislike a lot. I explain it:
A spanish web like slashdot.org but in spanish an Linux focused has posted a News message about my release.
Of course, on the notice there's links speaking about me, kde, and the icons.
My web is in two languages: English and Catalan (my native and usual language, and the language most used in Catalonia, a region from SPain).
Some user has visited my web and commented that i'm catalan, and, as my web are not in Spanish (the language speaked on all Spain including Catalonia), i'm not identificated as a spanish. I explain this: Catalonia long time ago was a nation like is now Spain or USA or others; in centuries, Spain occupied Catalonia and it will come as a part of Spain; actually (as allways after ocupation) there's some catalans that calls to the independence of Catalonia, and there's some spanish people that dislikes the catalan 'nationallity'.
In resume: it happened a hard discussion about political facts that are very separate of the News interest: the release of a new iconset for KDE made by a spanish 'artist'.

Obiously, i'm not according about political discussions, and my icons are international

don't panic, the english is very poor, and there's a big mistake about the Axialis contest: I winned this contest with my icons, and other 3 authors (with their own icons) are winned this contest too.... in the web is understanded 'togheter'
