Zipping CursorXP

If any of yawl zip cursors in with the CursorXP file, I learned one thing today. Well, maybe two things.

If CursorXP is running the cursors and you drag the cursorxp file into the zip, it changes to a .ini file

And/or/also... dragging the cursorxp file into a zip full of .cur files changes the file type (.cur) to .png. That is with the program shut off.

Seems that the CursorXP file needs to be slid into the cursor folder and then zip them all together.

Has this happen to anyone else? Or am I just rambling nonsensical banter and being clear as mud

I can't reproduce any of those scenerios..... it works as it should, nothing is renamed.
What zip program are you using? I use ZipCentral.

I use Zippy Do Da. Honestly, that is what happened and more than just once using WinZip.
Maybe it happen because I had CursorXP running prior to moving the file and wasn't shut down all the way.
I don't use CursorXP very much. Only to open and save files and then I convert the users theme to cursor format and run them directly to save memory.

Use PowerDesk Pro 5 and you'll never have to worry about zipping again. Ontrack has a freeware version too.

It has nothing to do with CursorXP, I tried it running, and disabled. It's that silly Winzip try this http://zipcentral.iscool.net/
Power Desk is cool too, but I don't like the way it handles zips.

btw............CursorXP is using 2.5megs of memory at the moment.......that a mere triflin'

I am waiting for the day when they release the solid state hard drive and memory is a thing of the past

I have only about 30Mg of ram to play with after my system loads so I try to be thrifty with them.

Sally XMas is coming up. Try for more RAM. I have 512MB and with everything loaded on XPHome I have 340MB unused. Of course a comp does wonders for anyones self-esteem. I saved for 2 years to get mine. Now its obsolete already.

Sally, 30megs free, how much ram do you have, 128, 256? You must crawl along when your in a graphics program. Ram is cheap right now. Think I paid $70 for 512mg stick couple months ago.

I have 191mg of ram and my system will only take 320. I was planning on getting a new system as soon as the warranty expires.
By then Intel might have that 20gig processor out
