The wall/background looks strangely like the wall from Flagship Hyperdesk theme.

Nice start!  Spooky voice!

i could write you a rather harsh critique, but i am not sure whether you could handle that as this would be rather uncommon for WC. ;)

but i am really not sure if the usual "great job" comments will be beneficial for you.

it is pretty obvious you don't know much about HTML and web design and you use some point-and-click tool. per se there is nothing wrong with that, but either the toolset you use sucks badly or you messed something up. the problem is that the page is so static it becomes crippled/unusable on smaller screens like my iPad and my Nexus 4. so if you want this website to be accessible on mobile devices you might want to reconsider some things.

now, i am not sure about the purpose of this website. but my suggestion would be to use Tumblr with your domain name. there are plenty of theme templates and i am sure there would be one that suits you. browsing through the available themes alone should give you some ideas, which in my opinion can't hurt, because honestly: right now it looks like some stale stuff from the late nineties. i could imagine that the Umo theme could be a nice base for your website: http://pixelmoxie-umo-folio.tumblr.com/

I might have to agree with that, I'm afraid.

When you design something new 'to you' it can be exciting/appealing.... until you compare it with historical/existing styles and perhaps find it compares as quite 'similar' and thus average to others.

It's an issue endemic to all creative art..... I know I'm guilty of it.  I can remember my first commercial house design....1973 .... thought it was the bee's knees... at the time.  40 years later and I can see horrible flaws in its 'creativity'.

What EVERYONE 'needs' is honest opinion - something more than 'that rocks' - as if/when it DOES it helps to know WHY ....;)

I Went to the link and IE poped up a window advising me to close the page because scripting was running to slow and could make IE unresponsive. So I'm running XP but I don't think that could cause a problem unless it's IE 8 causing the problem.

In comparison to your comments that always provide something new & refreshing

-I also think a little Constructive criticism is good for everyone, but you act like it is your birthgiven duty to find something to "point out"  in everything coming your way.

To chillout for once would be surprisingly "new" for you Moshi, If you can take that which is "rather uncommon for WC." :cylon:

Right now it´s early stages for the Site & as the title says it´s Under Construction.

-Me & Kitty are trying to push limits, create something worth while & to inspire to get up from that chair or leave that forum once & a while & actually do something.

We produce all sorts of Graphics & Art try to be "on site" for lucrative, inspiring & interesting things both on the web & IRL

We have profiles in the right places, followers, donators & fans & think we make a small but significant difference here in this world. We try.

-So if the website that is Under construction isn´t optimized enough yet.... o_O

We love you anyway  :sun:

Andy, relax. Different people express their opinions with varying amounts of skill and tact.

The trick is to blow away the chaff and keep just the wheat. ;)

I think everyone is looking forward to you succeeding...moshi included.

After all, if he didn't care, he wouldn't have commented at all. :)

Great start, use free advise, get em.
