Webblinds Pt. Dew

Hello friends and realatives

I had asked this question before and the answer was yes but no ezplanation was given how to make it so.

The Question: Why won't webblinds allow the scrollbars in IE to show the skin?...

OS is XP

c(_) <-- Coffee anyone?

@@ <-- Donuts

I could disable webblinds but then the walking man would go away and the toolbar icons and the popup blocker.

Can someone point me to the button to turn the skinning on?

As I understand it, WebBlinds uses an older verison of Stardock's DirectSkin, which doesn't skin scrollbars. However, if you let WebBlinds use the current WindowBlinds skin, instead of forcing a particular skin on it, it will skin the scrollbars. You can still set the throbber and toolbar icons to whatever you want and use the pop-up blocker.

I already have coffee, but thanks for the donuts.

I was under the impression that WebBlinds didn't skin the scroll bars because they are not true scroll bars.

Peff, this may be the case on older versions of Windows, but on XP, the IE scrollbars are skinned by WindowBlinds. WebBlinds will allow them to be skinned as well if it lets WindowBlinds do the skinning.

That was the answer, Mike. In the Webblinds tools, I set the top option for classic or windowblinds and the scrollbars got skinned.

Many thanks
