Hi, I'm pretty new to all this stuff so help me out please. All I want is to put a good looking skin on my operating system. I've downloaded Windows Blinds and Skin Studio, is there anything else I need to download? What do I do now to get skins on to my PC and how do I open them? Please Help. thx

go to https://www.wincustomize.com

go to the windowblinds section

find one you like and click on download

go to your display properties page

in Win2K go to the tab "skins" and apply the skin you chose

in WinXP (the next part is guessing) go to your themes tab and apply the skin you chose.

aha, then that's a whole different problem isn't it

OK. Did you download a windowblind skin? If so and it isn't showing up in the "skins" tab of your display properties...go back to wincustomize again, but this time, right click on the download link and select "save target as..." and then save it to the folder of your choice. When the dl is done, use explorer to go to the target folder. You should see your skin there. It should have a .wba extension. Double click on that. Then go back to your display properties > "skins" tab and select that skin and click apply or whatever.

I've now downloaded several files and tryed to open them, it worked. Then when i tryed to open the skin studio files within the wba file it didn't work, when they have loaded onto skin studio the thing froze. After 5 minutes it was still the same, frozen, so I Ctrl+ALt+Del to shut it down and the skin still hasen't been accessable. What do I do now?
