Ok, I sent you a couple emails. To start off I think it might be best to do the Q&A as a community project.

Off the top of my head...

When I install logons, they don't appear in the list. How do I solve this?

I had this problem with the CopperDesk II Logon. Here's what I did to fix it.
I changed the file ext to .zip, opened it and what do you think I found? Another .logonXP file........ when I opened that file, the Logon appeared in the list.
I think LogonXP is kludging the export.

'How do I read ?' would also be a good 1st paragraph.
No, to be serios now it is really a good idea to start such a project.

I need a list of proprietary file extensions. Such as .wba = WindowBlinds
.logonxp = LogonXP
Please list them here, I know I'll miss some.

Something about how to post/thread to this discussion list? Perhaps especially things along the lines of "why ain't it free" will be met with scorn and derision.

With only a little more seriousess, How do I update/upgrade/view my level? What are the advantages of becoming a subscriber? and the ever present chatter re the moderation process.

How about, "I'm a newbie, what are the files I need to download to get started in using skins?"

Also, "if I decide to start developing skins, what software do I need?"

One more, "I've download icon files, how do I use them?"

You'll need a decent graphics editor. Paintshop Pro, Photoshop, The Gimp.

Jobeleca, Not sure if I'm wording this the clearest way, but the numbers are how many tens of downloads received. Adni's number today is 911, meaning that he had 9,110 downloads.

I had previously thought they were mere download numbers until I noticed that their download numbers were much higher than the top authors numbers.

Alright alright, Jafo had typed in a much more friendly answer to that question some months ago.

The numbers in 'Top Authors' are an average of D/L's per day.
Adni's skin download count, for example, is totalled each day, then divided by the number of skins uploaded by him, to get the average downloads.

Not true Hippy. The number of the "Top Author" list are the number of downloads for the previous day divided by 10. No matter how many skins one has. It's not an average.
