its how Bryce is used, if done in the right way can look like this https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?wp=2&Sort=Name&searchtext=Buzz&Order=Descending&library=8

only one bad side to it, can take hours if not days to render which depends what textures are used, especially reflections and glass

That's the price you pay, Voodoo... you know that... The better and more creative your creation is the longer that bad boy takes to render.... oh, well! I love it!

And excuse me Styl, but I don't think you've ever even used Bryce, just by the comments you are making.

Styl....please, PLEASE, PLEASE don't coax new aspiring artists to use Bryce.
One more darn Dolphin on a beach with a palm tree and I will become homicidal...

obviously another person who has not a clue about Bryce, only rank amateurs make
little dolphin pictures, and they of course are all clueless women... (or wannabes)

It would be very nice, Jafo, if you weren't so judgemental about any graphical design program besides Photoshop..

JamMeister...I answered that in the other thread...and BTW, I don't play favourites....there are people who are terrible with Photoshop, too [filter abuse].
Spending heaps on expensive graphic proggies does not generate instant 'talent', just as owning a Ferrari does not make you a good driver...

Oh, and enough with the 'clueless women'...that's defamatory, unprovoked and unnecessary.

JamMeister33, ive used bryce for a while now, I will upload a one of my new bryce creations soon.
And where do you think this is made in?
https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=8&SkinID=5796
I not such a guy that goes telling the world he used bryce, when he didn't.
And besides, did you ever used bryce? For the record, we are talking about bryce 5 here.

Try using Illustrator 10 for walls.
That is an interesting exercise and as for 'clueless women', I've never met one!
Jafo, considering the last real Ferrari was the F40 (even if the engine was short 4 cylinders and in the wrong place!) most Ferrari 'owners' these days couldn't drive a nail into a plank with a nail gun!

I'm not going to go into Bryce supporter mode (OK just a little bit). But before you say what Bryce can't do look at Martin Murphy's page http://www.billmunnsgallery.com/ and at-least give the demo http://www3.corel.com/cgi-bin/gx.cgi/AppLogic+FTContentServer?pagename=Corel/TrialSoftware/Index a try. On a lighter note I happen to drive a 77 Fiat Spyder 124 and I wouldn't trade it for the world, it might not be a Ferrari but it I like it and that goes for Bryce as well.

Grog...I always liked the 124...

Wom...prior to the first Melbourne GP in '96, we had some 'sprints' around Albert Park where for $50 you could take a ride in various Ferraris around the lake. I was based on Queens Road, to keep an eye on traffic, etc, and had one F50 put himself sideways turning into Queens Rd, with only a row of Witches hats between him and Joe Public on the main road. I called thru to 'Race Control' saying I had a twit here in a F50 I wasn't impressed with, the guy on the next corner responded likewise, but added 'yeah, and there's a Copper here that would like to talk to him too'. Needless to say, the F50 driver was 'requested to leave'.
Like the moron in Japan who videoed his speedo on the highway when he'd hit the double ton.....booked with his own evidence...

You can buy a fast car, but for love or money, you CANNOT buy a brain...

Oh, I've met a few drivers who CAN drive a Ferrari.....but they all have what is known as a 'Super Licence'...

I've been using bryce 5 for one year now.
not only can you make some nice abstract wallpapers, you can also make loads of other stuff.
is it allowed to make a link to another website?
if so i'll give you a link to one of my most recent works.
mich2k...yes, that's fine. Put a link up here in the thread. There has been quite a few in the past also showing the strengths of proggies such as Bryce, but equally you could find squillions of links to disasters of horrific proportion, also created by proggies such as Bryce.
Just like Ferraris and good drivers, there are far more tools in circulation than there are craftsmen...

thats true.
every time i visit an art gallery there is at least one image of a sandy "beach" with a palmtree usually floating in the air.
or worse, a water material on which a pink default terrain is placed with a gigantic silver sphere.
i've learned that although bryce says its a terrain gen. it is best not to use it for that purpose
bryce can indeed deliver some nice abstract results if your into that kind of wild waves stuff
i personally like the kind where you have a silver plain look with a blue ball or such in the middle... if i only knew what program that was made with...

now for my art.
i'm not saying its very good... so be warned

using bryce isn't something you learn in one go.
it took me one year to even come close to the thing i wanted to do with it when i bought bryce.

Okay, first off, I'd like to apologize to everyone here for my insensitive, defamatory, and unprovoked remarks. I need to learn to control my temper better. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and they don't need me jumping on them just because I don't happen to agree. Secondly, I especially apologize to Jafo for what probably seems like a concerted effort to attack you. I promise to shut the heck up.

I agree, it shows a great deal of sophistication and understanding of this not "so easy" program...

JamMeister...that's just the 'Taj' filter being abused...

Good job Mich!

Again with the "filter abuse". I wouldn't know really, I extremely rarely use one. But I have no problem with them being used well.

I think i need some help. How come the walls that i made
are not as sharp as those in here?? They all look so fuzzy and blurry. Then when i sharpen them, it looks damn ugly.
Please answer my question. I'm using Bryce and Photoshop by the way.
