Several problems, need help!!!!! PLEASE!

Hello all! I'm having an issue with WindowBlinds. Whenever I apply a certain WindowBlind to my desktops appearence, a long vertical bar from the bottom of my screen to the top takes up about 1/4 of my desktop. Within this bar it says several things like, folder options, properties, etc. Does anyone know what this is? Perhaps you need a better description? I want to purchase the full version of Object desktop, but until I figure out this problem, I can't do that. For anyone who thinks they can help me, I have a snapshot of my desktop with this annoying "bar" if you want me to email it in bmp. format. But like I said, it is constant. The second I hit apply for the new WindowBlinds appearence, there it is, never fails. Even if I switch back to Win's default appearence, the "bar still stays.
System Info: WinXP Pro, AMD AthlonXP +2100, 768MB Ram, GeForce4 ti 4600. Thanks in advance!!

This could just be a standard toolbar that's become detatched from your taskbar.
Right-click this bar, and there should be a menu option to close it.

It soundz like maybe Objectbar ,in some form or fashion is loading or there is another app called Control Center that fits the description of the bar showing on your screen.If you can bring up TaskMngr when this is happening and slowly eliminate apps until your offender is identified.I have never seen this happen with any WB I have used.
