Server is busy?

yea it's pissing me off too and i think it's just a way to make us annoyed enough to actually buy the programs that you can only do a couple of things and it dosen't even work during startup or anything like the real os that it's trying to be

the way i look at it wincustomise should just go get a new partner like game spy or somthing and most of the skins don't work right any way and the programs are sub standard like who would pay money for a program that sucks worse then kazaa

Sometimes the server is very busy because to many people are downloading. You might try the off peak times. The times were listed on another thread, but can't remember which one or the off peak hours. Sorry.

Malikai, Then why are you here at all? way before I got the programs i never had any problems with the server being to busy, Yes at time this will happen. And it happens to the ones that buy the software to. If the programs are "sub-standard" as you say, show us something better if you can find one better then WB, I think you'll stay with WB.

ok i have a programming class that can make me somthing better and i can put it out for free instead of paying like ..... $20 for it

secondly if you'r gonna make a site devoted to custom stuff then you should have had the fore sight to get a big scsi harddrive and a high speed connection it's just poor planning

queen, put simply, this site is a victim of it's own popularity. My short term suggestion is to postpone your downloads for the "off-hours". My long term suggestion is to purchase a win-customize subscription, the proceedes from the sale will be used to make this site run faster and better.

Malikai, they have an enormous hard drive array and high speed connections. They simply didn't expect to have the millions of visitors per month (which is only a fairly recent thing). They had the foresight, they bought what they could, they're simply more popular than they can afford to be.

If you want the site to go faster go to the store and buy something. The proceeds will be used to improve the service.

BTW, if you can make something better yourself, get to work! If it's better I'll switch. I'll be waiting

Malikai, I'm on a 56k modem myself. My main suggestion is to visit the site in the early morning hours or while most people are still at work.

Also, during busy times people who have contributed $$$ to the site get priority over freeloaders. (as it should be) If you have an extra $20 floating around somewhere, spend it here and watch your connection improve.
