in game movies?

If your talking about for example: your playing a game and you get to a spot in the game and a small little movie plays? Then its part of the coding of the game as well as the coding of the movie. I make the movie in avi format and add the script to it. I would need more info on the game before I could tell you what to do, like is the game going to be on a CD or is it downloaded, is it a game that fits on every ones resolution is it a game that is a window or will it take over the size of the screen, so forth. For example I’m working on a slider game that has a story line to it with little movies that go along with it, but if you choose at the beginning of the game to use your own set of pictures it will not play the movie. I’m also working on games you can play with your friends like battleship, Othello, checkers, and so on you will be able to type to each other while you play the game.

in gamesopt and all other game sites, you can click on a game to read review etc. also you can download movies of the GAME WHILE PLAYING IT. is there any means to do that? ie. whil i am playing a game say: need for speed 4; how can i take a movie of my car racing WHILE paying it?

Ok, many games have special built in functions for taking "movies" of your gameplay. That's where most of these game vids come from. However, there are also external programs that do screencaptures at a set rate that can also form videos.
