Looks like a server needs a kicking...;)
Is that why the throbber top left on Chrome is acting like the Eveready Bunny? Just keeps going and going and going......sometimes taking as long as twenty minutes to load.
I also am not currently having any problems with the site. Guess someone must of slapped the server.
I have problems with the site every now and then. But its usually just a few hours
business as usual, the site is slow. it has been slow since quite a few years. according to alexa.com:
Very Slow (5.323 Seconds), 94% of sites are faster.

maybe time to raise the subscription prizes. 
as long as you don't subscribe, not really a reason a to complain.
