~ How come......??

~ When I joined WC Hoverdesk wasn't one of the apps listed and I really didn't think anything of it. Then I read a thread somewhere(this was a while ago, mind you) about some kind of controversy or something. What's the deal? I ask partly out of curiosity and partly because I like Hoverdesk. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

No real controversy - Hoverdesk (HVD) is a direct competitor of StarDock's Object Bar product. Business sense dictates that it is neither wise nor profitable to promote your competitor's products, expecially if it costs StarDock money to do so. SD and HVD are on quite friendly terms and there's no animosity between the two companies or their principal parties. The majority of Hoverdesk themes (over 220 of 'em) live hapily on Deviantart's servers.

BTW - If you didn't know, I'm one of HVD's developers.

~ Yes, I did know Russ. Since you're responding, I want to take this time to say thank you for a great product! Also, why does it seem like everyone has stopped skinning HVD? There haven't been any new themes posted in what seems like forever!
