Rejection

So when skins, themes, objects, etc. get rejected by the admin, do they give an email or priveate message explaining why, or not? I submitted an object that didn't make it into the archives, so obviously it didn't pass the test. That's fine with me-I use it I like it-though I would be helpful for developers to know what needs to be fixed or nix'd in future versions. Oh well, I've got something that will blow users away... soon enough... oh yes...

You will get an E-mail if your submitted work does'nt make it through moderation.

Not all the time. The admins try to send everyone an email but remember they are volunteers and their time is valuable. So they may not always have the time to send you an email. Especially when there are peaks in the number of submissions.

One or two may not get an email....due to hiccups....[the 'what does this button do?' syndrome]....sometimes the return email address is 'faulty'...

chickenbow, you sure you uploaded it succesfully? You should be getting an email if it doesn't go through. Althouhg it's possible that we forget to send the email, it's probably very rare. Also, usually when we reject something, we don't delete it right away, we just put it in the "recycle bin", sort of. And I see nothin of yours for Desktop X in our recycle bin.
Maybe you should try uplaoding it again, we'll keep an eye for it and make sure to send you an email if we reject it.

Well, I just uploaded it again incase it didn't go through before. Maybe it had something to do with how it was previously named. Now it is named, "Sidebar." I updated my email address as well 'cause my old one was being slammed with e-crap. Anyway, here's hoping.

Looks like things went through alright, I guess changing the name helped. Thanks.
