DESKTOP X - need your opinion, what would you like to see?

HI evry one, i am now working a really great (i think ) desktop X theme, i have buttons on the left of if, it are shortcuts to: internet explorer, the wincustomize site, and to photoshop.

Personally, I think you should make your theme for yourself first. You get more enjoyment that way.

But in my opinion a good DX theme should have some kind of start menu, a place for an active task bar or menu, and some sort of systray. I think that these three things are what most people are comfortable with. Ask yourself while making your theme "Is it functional?" Meaning is it pretty easy to navigate? Would someone else using your theme have any trouble finding there way around.
"Is my theme complete?" Do your objects, menus, and plugins work properly.

These are just opinions friend. Like i said make it for youself first...Oh and i see you have your theme up, so i will shutup and go check it out

Instead of using application-specific icons, why not make task-specific icons that could be used for any number of apps? For the most part everyone is gonna have an mp3 player, an graphics app, a browser, an email app, etc. If you focus on the task, instead of the brandname, then both people who use IE and Mozilla can use the browser icon, and so on for all the other apps. In addition, you don't have to wiegh the option of ripping out trademarked symbols and copyrighted graphics to make your icons recognizable.

making my icons recongnizable isnt the hole thing, just had some spaced left, and it was a good id to put the name rondesigns there, if i wanted to make my name recongnizable i would put the name on the middel screen
