Windows Blinds - Skins aint working

i jus got windows blinds installed it, right cliked my desktop went to properties and along to appearence. opened the drop down menu and chose a skin, the please wait comes comes up while my desktop fades to grey, while the skin loads. BUT after it finished loading i was introduced to the classic windows skins(me/9x) everytime i try to load a skin it just takes me back to the windows classic style, i dunno what i am doing wrong, if i have something disabled i aint sure or what, has any1 else experienced this please help and thanx for reading

Not sure. Something like that happened once, I am not sure how it fixed. After you installed it, did you reboot your system?

yeh mate av rebooted since, but it just keeps doing the same thing, i have tried the free version and then i registered it, it's just not working

after you click apply do you click OK? If so , just click apply and just close without clicking OK. Try that.

i fixed it, there was something wrong with the registration coz i had the wrong one installed av moraless sorted it. but, when i click start when the menu pops up that still shows as windows classic

me too,forcer.I haven't been able to overcome that myself.When I see the pre-views of the different skins,they always include a skinned start menu but I dunno where it is or comes from.I'm not gettin it either.

well the start menu wont all customize and between the start menu button and the clock is also not customized

I had the same problem - partial skinning: start button and clock were skinned, but there was a gray hole in the middle. Reinstalling 5 times helped!! But to me, it happened only with Adni's skins!? Weird!
