Current Desktop

This might sound silly but what does the current desktop in the user profile do? Do you upload the skin you have or just capture the screen and make a picture. If you make a jpg of the desktop, is it put online for all the world to download in a special section that I am not aware of.

Just take a screen shot and put it into a jpeg. Then upload it in edit your account. Every time someone clicks onto your name it will bring it up and people will see it. It's not downloadable.
