Icon Workshop

Axialis' icon workshop keeps crashing on me when I want to edit .ionc files from www.xicons.com Does anyone know of other freeware/shareware that can do this so I can save it as .ioc windows format? Or, another option, does anyone have a whole bunch of OS X/Jaguar/Icons like that of the Darwin windowblind screenshot that they can email me?

What exactly happens when you open an .icns file? Be as specific as possible.

Whether I right click and Open With the Icon Workshop or open Icon Workshop and cick file open first... the same thing happens. You click "ok" to load it, and then the PROGRAM IS NOT RESPONDING END NOW popup comes up and I have no other choice but to end it now.

Btw, I notice I wrote ".ionc" above (hmm, studying greeks at the moment)... The files that I have were .icns. I just mistyped above.

Hmmm... monsieurcoffee : It's not so polite to let people answer Your questions and then just go on to the next question. I don't think You can expect an answer to Your 2nd question this way.

mrcoffe, sizes higher than 48x48 are very unproductive for any WIndows.
But, if yoy wish to see real 128x128 icons on your desktop, wait to Stardocks new releases (that will acomplish this function), or check Talisman 2.5 (do you need to be a customer for this version).
