Can't view WinCustomize?!?!

I brought this up a while back with no answer and wanted to solicit everyone's thoughts again. I've got two machines at work. On one of them I can connect to WinCustomize just fine using IE 6, Windows XP Pro w/ SP1 (this is a laptop). On my desktop, I can't connect using IE (same OS and versions as my laptop). On this machine I get the "page cannot be displayed" message, but I can connect using Mozilla just fine on this desktop PC. This is the only site I have any problems connecting to on my desktop PC. Any thoughts as to what is going on?

Thanks in advance for the input ... Dan

Try deleting any Wincustomize cookies and login again....probably something as simple as that...

Should've mentioned that all of those things has been tried. I've deleted all cache, cookies, everything I can think of. Nothing seems to work. I should also mention that this happened on another desktop machine I had prior building the one I'm using right now. I've never had the problem on my laptop, so I know it's not something going on in our corporate firewall or with my user/ip addresses. Just on my desktop machines ...

I had the same problem with IE on one machine. Finally I deleted not only TIF but also cleared out some other IE rubbish left behind and deleted all WC cookies. That did it. I figured the cookies got corrupted.

Can't remember, 3_4me, if you mentioned before if you cleared out IE and cookies and still could not connect. Might be worth giving another try.

oops, you posted after I'd gone to respond so I see you had tried all that. There must be something hanging on behind....

You might want to try out some of these free cleaners. Good to use at any time, but maybe something will help here.

I was too anxious and couldn't wait till tomorrow so I VPN'd into work and removed all cookies. Lo and behold there were 2, one for www.wincustomize.com and another for 63.111.11.204. I removed both of these and am now able to get to the site. I had only removed the one for wincustomize.com before. Thanks for all the help ... Dan
