My new site

did anyone check it out?

looks like a nice layout. i'm not big on the color scheme, but it actually is a nice change from all the blues/grays out there.

dunno if you intended it or not, but your graphic just down and to the left of your username entry has a darker blue-greenish edge, whereas the rest of the same area has no edge coloration...

also, did you intend for the page you are on to be highlighted on the top navbar's link? if so, cool, it works. actually, maybe highlighted isn't the right word...it is given a background color, it looks like (haven't looked at the code).

the forum looks good! (looks familiar too...since i just began using snitz on my site )

oh, and maybe it is my cache, but your graphic for "Martin's News Server" isn't displaying...

i really like the big events section's calendar! something i must figure out how to do, since my site is concerning my upcoming wedding, and all the plans around it, to keep all the relatives informed.

overall, a very nice and well layed out site. i like it!

did anybody have problems with the bandwith? The server is running on a win2k machine with 128 MB SDRAM PII400 (upgrade is on its way)...

it loads just fine with me, although from where i am i am tapping a t1...dunno how it'd load on a v90.

hey, have you seen those litlle message boxes some peple put on their sites where it is kind of like a minature chat window? do you know any good code that creates those?

i found something called ShoutBox, i think it was, but then i read a bunch of security issues relating to it, like being able to run malicious code from within the window, etc., which i definitely want to stay away from.

also, have you come across any decent tutorials for snitz? i like the way you have the logon and password at the top constantly. how did you do that?

The site is an almost unchanged version of MWP. about that chat windows i was wondering myself. It is a future task for my site.
