recover corrupted files..help!

hi there
i have a zip archive. only one file winzip says it is corrupted. i have tried winrar to fix the file but in vain.

it says: CRC error for so and so file. (some number) should be (some number)

if it says SHOULD BE: blahblah then y it is not changin the CRC???

please help!

crc stands for cyclical redundancy check.. basically, there is a place in the file where it says how long/big the file should be, and the actual size of the file doesn't match. it almost always indicates a bad download. the only way to fix it is to re-download, if you can. [afaik]

i used WINRAR...which didnt work.

i used ADVANCED ZIP REPAIRER and it WORKED!
