Logika WindowBlinds skin problem + question

Hi,

I bought the Logika suite and was using it with no probs yesterday... then my computer crashed (thank you ObjectBar!)

When I rebooted, it told me my ObjectBar trial was up even though I'd only had it for 2 days and it wouldn't load WB properly.

I'm running Win98 - I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it all and it still told me ObjectBar was over 30 days even after restoring the registry to prior to the crash, and now when I load the Logika WB skin the font in the window titlebar is TINY - must be 4 pixels or something cause I can hardly read it.

I'm not sure what to do - any suggestions anyone?

Also - how long does the WB/DesktopX trial last, and would you recommend DesktopX or HoverDesk? Does HoverDesk skin windows like WB?

Any help with the skin would be appreciated.

Thanks
Rebel

I don't mean to be annoying or bug people or anything but some help would really be appreciated especially since I have limited time on the internet...

Thanks

I have no idea what has caused your problem, but I can answer a couple of your questions.
I much prefer HoverDesk over DesktopX, but neither of those skin the windows. There are several windows skinners available, but WindowBlinds is the best. IMHO

Unfortunatly I don't use Objectbar and have no idea of what is hapenning.

I think that the best thing for you to do is email Stardock support and ask them, other then that you can go to their iRC channel and try some help there.

Good luck and thank you for supporting our work

treetog, you developed the Logika skin... have any idea what is causing the skin titlebar font problem?

I can take a guess at it, you should find a .ttf (True Type Font) file in the directory for Logica (C:\Program Files\Windowblinds\logica or something like that) Take that file and copy it to your Windows Fonts Directory. If you are running XP it will install automatically, if your running 98 it will install on the next reboot. Hope this helps.

Grog is correct, all you need to do is installing the font as he mentioned and everything will be ok
