Something New

I noticed wincustomize has so many skinning appz. What about Style XP? http://www.tgtsoft.com. It is (in my perspective) more stable than window blinds. And has good skins.

1. Wincustomize is owned by Star Dock, maker of WindowBlinds. You don't go to a Chevy dealership and expect to see Fords for sale do you?

2. Are you sure you want to be hacking Window's files? You do realize that is all Style XP is don't you? There was a reason that MS closed the themeing abilities of XP.

3. Most of the good skins for Style XP are rips or ports of original WindowBlinds skins.

4. The differances between WB and StylesXp have been debated in several forums. Do a little searching and you can decide for yourself.

It's not even a program, it merely let's you replace the default XP windows style with some new graphics. WB does the same, but in a legal manner, and adds more functionality to it all (Plus you're not restricted to a pre-defined shape for the layout).
As for it's stability, it's only as stable as your PC, since it's a feature of XP.

Guacamole is my favorite vegetable...

...just my two cents...

...and before I get reamed, I understand it is just the *mushed & chunky* form of an avacodo, so go pick your nose somewhere else...

...and it goes great with chips & slasa...

...which is much better, in my opinion, than fish and chips...

...which I really don't care for...
