I think ObjectBar will do fine on your system. ObjectBar can extend or even replace your start menu but it is not harmful. Give it a try.

Litestep is a shell replacement. It is very advanced and in my opinion should be left to the PowerUser/Tweaker guys.

RTFM. Litestep has never messed up a computer. The manual is very detailed on how to fix anything that can go wrong.

Don't be afraid! If things get out of hand, which they won't, just click on the systray icon for it or run it again from explorer.

baker is right....as I usually put in my 'Readmefirst's for my themes...'LiteSTEP doesn't kill computers, people do'....

I was reading about liteSTEP tonight... I am about ready for something new and that looked like the next logical step. But how much does it cost? It had a caveat about "not for the novice user... and not for people not used to a "textbased" interface? It still looks good, though. And I am still thinking about it. I am not sure if the word interface is accurate to what they said, but it is close to the impression I got of the utility. Was I right?

LiteStep is not for beginners or those uncomfortable with text based configuration files. That is what I was wondering about. Does that mean one has to know a lot of command lines? Are they hard to learn?
