When my windows get dirty, I use a little WinDex on them to make them more transparent.

More seriously: How do you get WinFX to work? Do you have to go through and tell it to make every application transparent, or is there some command that I missed that makes everything transparent in one shot?

Making everything transparent, like explorer, could cause problems! Go ahead, laugh, but I'm someone has done it. WFX is currently at 1.97 and is working really well! You choose the individual apps you want transparent and the amount (degree) of transparency. The degree on a per app basis is key, because you still have to be able to see what you are doing. Give it a try...
