T-Man, I had originally rated a skin about a month ago. It has been drastically updated and I wanted to re-rate it, but could not. Why?

I am able to update a rating. If you rated it a 8 and want to give it a 10 then all you have to do is select 10 and press the button

Starone, does it even give you the field and button to update the rating? If it does what happens if you press the submit button?

Thanks T-Man. Yes, it does give me the field and button to rate. When I press it, it goes through the motions of having updated, but the rating stays at the previous number and previous rating. Nothing changes. Joe mentioned if he gives an 8 and then a 10 it takes. I usually originally rate high to bring the rating up to what I think it should be, so I don't know if this is a factor as to why it is not re-rating for me.

if you mean it's not changing the 'overall' rating, that's quite likely. it will change the rating you've given it yourself, but your rating is averaged in with all the others the piece has received.

also, please don't rate 'high' to try to 'fix' the overall rating. this kind of ballot-stuffing makes it difficult for the ratings to work like they should. just give it what you honestly think it deserves
