I assume the theme is a dxtheme. You could either add a dx taskbar and syst tray object. Or in the theme's settings, tell it to use the regular windows taskbar.

I have a G4, and I'm trying to get this WinXp theme to work...

Well not really. Assuming I actually did want an Xp theme (on any machine), theming support in OsX ain't what it is in the Windows world. Heaven forbid you don't like a theme and need to restore Aqua. Depending on the theme, you could be in for a bumpy ride.

So yeah, if you want that true mac experience, you'll have to get a mac, but a plus in the pc world is the long-established skinning community.

plainsong - back into lurk mode.

Gosh, macbetter, do you see us going roaming into Mac websites telling people to buy a PC? This is WINcustimize, ok?

The whole point of skinning is that you can have your system look different every day. I may want to have it look like OS X today and likke BeOS tomorrow, or like something totally cool by Treetog or Dangeruss the day after. And I don't have to buy a new machine or install a new OS to get it.
And the best thing is that all the good software I have will still work. Which won't be the case if I change my OS (or maybe to some extent with Linux and Wine).
