Problem with skinning Skin Browser...

I recently received a note from a member letting me know of a problem with my 'Indigo' skin and Skin Browser.

When the Skin Browser window is maximized the right side scroll bar is hidden behind the wide borders of 'Indigo' and also the button along the bottom of each section in Skin Browser get partially cut off.

One is required to 'restore' the window to a smaller size and then manually size the window.

I have tried every other application that I own and the problem does not occur with these. It only happens with Skin Browser.

Is this a problem with Skin Browser?

If not, if it is a problem with my 'Indigo' skin then what could I do, using SkinStudio, to correct the problem.

The skin that I'am currently using(LiquidAqua) doesn't hide the scrollbar but does start to infringe on the bottom buttons. I'll load another and check.

Thanks Wise.

Does seem kind of strange that this only happens with the Indigo/Skin Browser combination. Every other combo is fine.

I'll keep poking around SkinStudio to see if I can figure something out.

No problem motion. All the ones that I tried do have thinner frames, but I was under the impression that the skin adapted to the size of whatever it was skinning. So I do not see why Indigo doesn't work with the skinbrowser. Doesn't make sense. By the way, what is the name of the wall that goes with Indigo? I forgot what you called it. Have you tried any other wide framed skins to see if they have the same problem?

Haven't tried any other wide framed skins Wise. I don't have any downloaded right now so I'll have a look through the WB library and see if I can find a few to download and try.

The old wallpaper was/is called WIndigo. (my poor attempt at a pun. ).

Well WiseOldMan, I realized I had a skin already that had wide borders. It is 'TheKnight' by starone. I installed it, and opened SkinBrowser. It doesn't cut of the right side scrollbar but it does cut into the buttons along the bottom, like Indigo does.

I think this is a SkinBrowser problem, where it does not resize properly to fit the area.

I agree with you motion. I hope they can do something. I really like Indigo. I found the wallpaper and now I will put it into the Indigo skin so that it will come up when loaded and stay up when I reboot.
