a good colour picker program?

i am trying to pick a set of colours for syntax highlighting in vim at the moment.

what i would like is a program that simply shows me a colour wheel, so that i can select a certain shade of (say) blue, and it will tell me the HEX value of this colour.

i can do this in MS Word by going into define custom colour, but this seems like far to much fuss for such a simple job.

an initial hunt at downloads.com isnt getting me very far either.

just wondering if anyone could recormend a small simple free prog for doing this.

thanks

colorpad is the best, free, skinnable, color picker around (IMHO)

Feline.... after you pick a color, are you going to paint it here? GM hopes some Feline magic can freshen the paint can some.

YIPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Humidor is coming someday to a screen very near ME!!!!!!!!! Thanks! My computer will finally be complete (for an instant)!

here is my first one.... basic, but I was thrilled to have it (only not as thrilled as news of a new Humidor). I liked that it came from so far away...

something like that

currently i am trying to get some complimentry colors for syntax highlighting in vim.

i am also planning on creating a coolplayer skin (seems a good place to start), but i seem to have made 2 tiny technical errors:

a) i think i am developing an internet adiction, which eats up a lot of time

b) in installed DiabloII + expansion pack on my machine!

somehow between these two learning gimp and skinning seems to have gone out the window

So, instead of a color picker... maybe you would rather like to see color charts? I know of some of those, I think I could find them again.
