linking to outlook express inbox in litestep jdesk module?

hey.
i just downloaded [[czar]'s horizontal theme, and its wicked stuff so far. the only problem i can see is that he set up the desktop email "Unread: #" link for pop3 accounts only, which wont work for my hotmail account. now, i use outlook express as a hotmail gui anyway, so all im wondering is, how do i change the link to one that shows how many emails are in my downloaded inbox, and goes to my inbox when clicked?

You need to check which module is providing the function...and check its text file to see if what you want is an option available..

i don´t think this is possible. Hoitmail uses a proprietary format and Microsoft does not document this, what makes it extremely hard for coders.

i am not using Outlook. this would be possible if Outlook writes the stuff you want to read into a text file, so label.dll can read it.

also, is there a way i could put the number of new messages downloaded into my inbox, in a variable?

as i said above, if Outlook writes that info into a text file (TXT, LOG, INI, HTML or whatever) label.dll can read it.

yer lsmail is what i was talking about up the top ive given up and started using a pop3 account, but noones emailing me there yet :/
