Steam --- Mod folder does not exist, mod path does not exist for Trinity -- help please <3

Let me preface this by saying i have hidden folders turned off, so that is not the problem.

I downloaded this game off of STEAM. So when i follow the mod path under -options- -mods- -modpath- it leads me no where. The only file along that route is the license.

When i go to the steam folder. -steam- -steamapps- -common- -Sins of Solar Empire Trinity-

I am then confronted with a large number of folders containing game files. However, no where in any folder is there anything to do with mods.

Thank you in advance.

EDIT: I am using Windows XP

Thank you for your response. However, it is not the answer i should have said i am running this on windows XP. So, those do not lead where you say. In program files(x86) there are no folders relating to stardock. Under AppData there i no folder -Ironclad Games-

These seem to be the instructions for if the game was downloaded directly, again, i got it off steam.

If you would follow the link I supplied you, you would see the easiest way to find your mod path.  :annoyed:

Where do I install the Mods?

The easiest way to find where to place the mod is through the game menu. Select "Options" in the main menu the select "Mods" then "Show Mod Path". Pressing "Show Mod Path" should create the folder if there is not one already.

Options Button  Mods Button  Show Mod Path Button
