Windows Xp skin support

Hi!
I'm am new here in wincustomize! and it didn't take me long to realize it was one of the best sites on the net.I aslo congratulate all the skinners for their great works I would to know if there aren't skins that are directly compatible with Windows Xp( I mean without using any programs but the Windows theme manager)If not, I would like to know why cuz I think this would be great. Thanks!Any help would be appreciated

Microsoft has 'locked' their theme manager to prevent the use of themes that are not digitally signed by Microsoft. As a result, it is not possible to use themes/skins with XP without a third party solution, like WindowBlinds.

Well, you need windowblinds to use windowblinds skins, there are however loads of other window skinning programs. IMHO Windowblinds is the best.

I'm new here also. I'm very excited about "skinning" I installed Window Blinds and gave it a whirl. It worked fine, except the settings go back to default after I log off XP. How do I make them stick, or is this the way it's supposed to work?

The sharware version resets when you log back on. The full version doesn't have this limitation.
