I can't get registered

I am so frustrated

So, I've been using Fences with no problems and decide to buy and register so I can get 2.0 -- I've regretted it ever since

I have a registration number and can find NO WHERE to input this or log it -

I sent for support -- I waited 26 hours for a response-

I got this:

Click on the desktop and select "Configure Fences".
Select the "Unlock" button it and follow the steps to unlock it, typically email and password are all you need.
Otherwise, select the "I have serial" button    NO WHERE ON MY SCREEN DOES IT SAY UNLOCK OR "I HAVE A SERIAL NUMBER"


If you are prompted for the off-line activation follow the steps illustrated below:    It NEVER prompts me for offline activation and all the links below this are just pictures - but I can't figure out how to get to these places ...

Fill out the form at http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1221.png

Select Register

Select OK again: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1222_001.png

Fill out the form and select Activate: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1222_002.png

A message will open with instructions: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1225.png along with a window displaying the file to upload to http://activate.stardock.com/ : http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1226.png

I had 2 people I know already convinced on how great this program is -- and now that they've seen me fight and get frustrated over activation they are both just shaking their heads and walking away --

 

Stardock -- you have a good product but I guess in the effort to keep people from "stealing" it -- you've made it almost impossible for someone like me who has PAID YOU to get this to work ...

I hope I get this working but I can't recommend it to anyone I know --

Tech Support contacted me again quickly this morning -- I'm downloading something so they can see my log files.     The only issue now seems to be that I can't reply back to them ... maybe my mail server is wonky

Upload the reults to something like Dropbox and reply to the ticket with the link . .

But it sounds like you have other issues.  If you are on a domain it may be blocking all sorts of things.

OK - I responded to the Tech Support email with a link from Google Drive -- hopefully this will work
