yes this cuts me, knowing there is nothing I can do, I have family and friends there in Tasmania and are doing it tough right now with the fires going on either arround them or they are very close to it.
Three fires are burning out of control and threatening communities along the east coast and central Tasmania, with thousands of people stranded as roads are cut off.
An emergency warning has been issued for a large bushfire near Bicheno, 180km northeast of Hobart, with about a dozen properties already lost.
