Favorite Cartoon Characters

Hands down, the God of cartoon characters is Bugs Bunny. Actually the whole stable of Looney Tunes characters are terrific. He's the wise-ass, and who always comes out ahead, that we always wish we could be.

The traditional Disney characters never did a thing for me. I always found them annoying. They should all be tossed into a blender, pureed, then pored down the drain.

The Hanna-Barbara cartoons are a mixed bag with Fred Flinstone (and his flock) the clear forerunners.

As for modern day characters, there's Ren and Stimpy, Beavis an Butthead, the Simpsons, and the South Park gang. While all good, they haven't stood the test of time, though it seems pretty clear the Simpsons are destined for such long-term noteriety.

Of them, I have a fondness for Ren and Stimpy. They seem the closet to the old Looney Tunes.

Hey, this would be helpful for me to know what cartoons you guys watch. I'm trying to start a anime site with cartoons from around the world (not just America and Japan).

but anyway, my all time favorite cartoon is the Smurfs. Yes I know, why the Smurfs. The range of charaters and personalities really mde me laugh (and cry). Brainy Smurf is me. Greedy Smurf would be a friend of mine who eats like she won't eat again ever.

Clumsy Smurf, is me too at times. Vanity... all of them can be somebody you know or you yourself.

I also like Scooby Doo. I look like Shaggy (except I am way handsomer)

Bugs/Daffy/Porky the Golden Age

Bugs and Elmer are the best. Foghorn Leghorn, Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner are a close second. hmmm...then there is the Schultz gang, and the crew over at Hundred acre wood. So many to choose from but the old classics are the best.

TRUE!! I love Pinky and the Brain!!! Mostly because one is a genius and the other is insane.

And what about Danger Mouse?? Or She-Ra the princess of power?? And Rainbow Brite?? Or Penny of inspector Gadget (I actually had a crush on her, until she broke my heart in a dream where she left to date another cartoon charater)
