Hey All and especially to Adni18 - Love your work man!. I am wonderin 2 things.

2)If you want to cahnge one icon (say the My Computer Icon), using an Icon from a downloaded collection, how did I do it. I guess this ties into the 1st question.

Thanks, all u's, keep the fu*kin alsom work up.

1) The Icons in the Iconpackager library to left have an .ip extension. Just change the extension to .zip, it's just a .zip in disguise, and they're your icons. You can extract them and apply manually if you like.

2) If you are using Iconpackager the the program:

Just click on Icons & Cursors in the left pane and manually change whichever icon you please.

First off... Are you using Icon Packager?

The particular file you mention contains an .iptheme (text) and an .icl or Icon Library file. The library contains the icons and is normally opened with Icon Packager Explorer. I haven't played around with this format enough to know all the details on it though.

p.s. - the vomit smiley should be used sparingly...

yes. u can extract all the icons from a EXE, DLL, CPL etc..etc..

you know those SPECIAL windows dlls: USER32, KERNEL32, USER, ADVAPI (advanced API) contain LOTS of windows icons! better start exploring.

you might need a suitable icon viewer (iconpackager explorer--with iconpackager 2)

thats good enough
